A broad range of heat treating processes and capabilities:

Our stress-relieving capabilities are among the best on the eastern seaboard. Our largest car-bottom furnace can handle jobs up to 22 feet long, at temperatures up to 2,300 ºF.
Multiple integral quench continuous batch furnace batteries can process high volumes in controlled atmospheres, with temper capacity to match.
We offer such specialized processes as induction and vacuum heat treating, carburizing and nitriding, aluminum aging, and more.
In our 35,000 sf production facility, we have excellent overhead lift capacity, as well as finishing, straightening, and other related capabilities.
IMT opened in West Chester, Pennsylvania in 1964, and moved to Wilmington, Delaware in 1984.
